My area is rich with harp teachers, so you should talk to more than just me when looking for the right fit. If you’re not in the area (or even if you are), you might be interested in taking lessons online with Skype.

  2. Kathy DeAngelo➚, Voorhees NJ (metro Philadelphia area), has been teaching harp and fiddle to students of all ages and learning abilities since 1986. Previous musical experience is not necessary, nor the ability to read music, since she teaches “by ear.”

Harp teachers who use Skype

Skype is a free service that allows you to use a webcam to communicate over the Internet. Basically, it turns your computer into a video phone. Here are teachers who have had success teaching harp online:
